• What is an Honor Bar?

    At Villa Amistad, our Honor Bar is a self-serve, trust-based bar designed to feel more like staying at a friend’s home than at a hotel. Instead of grossly marked-up mini-bar prices and complicated rules, you’ll find a curated selection of drinks available for you to enjoy anytime during your stay.


    You simply:


    • Help yourself to whatever you’d like from the Honor Bar.
    • Record what you took using our Honor Bar online form.
    • Receive your receipt with total due via email.
    • Easily pay by CASH, CARD, or add to your Tab and we will charge your card on file at the end of your stay.

    It’s “Smart Luxury” in action: convenient, fairly priced, and built on mutual respect. We trust you as our guest; you get to relax, enjoy, and treat Villa Amistad like your home away from home.

  • Can I setup a Tab and pay when I leave?

    Yes, For guests staying at least 3 nights just  Click Here  to see the Honor Bar Tab FAQs and to setup a Tab (YOU MUST HAVE A CARD ON FILE  BEFORE STARTING A TAB.)

  • How do I record what I took and make payment?

    Follow these steps:


    1.  If you want to set up a tab go here first: Click Here


    2.  Items taken must be accounted for daily. Scroll down to see the Honor Bar Menu. Prices (MXN) are listed CASH/CARD & TAB. There is a discount for paying in cash pesos. Ex. 40/45.


    3.  Click the ORDER NOW button at the bottom to open the online order form. Complete it and submit it for items taken daily.  USE THE QR CODE AT THE HONOR BAR TO QUICKLY GET TO THE ORDER FORM IN THE FUTURE.


    4.  Our automated system will email you a receipt with your order and total amount due. If paying by CASH or CARD, payments are due the same day as when you took the item. Tabs will be settled with the card on file at the end of your stay.


    TO PAY BY:

    CASH (pesos only), take a payment envelope from the Honor Bar. Write your Full Name and the total amount paid. The amount due is listed on the emailed receipt sent after completing the order form. It already has the cash discount included. Exact Change Only.



    CARD, In the emailed receipt, click the Click Here link in the Card-Pay Now section at the bottom. A new window will be opened to our secure payment page. Enter the total amount due listed on the receipt. You must have selected pay by card when completing the order form. Enter the card details and click the Pay button.


    TAB, You must have a card on file and be staying 3+ nights.  Your card will be charged the amount due at the end of your stay.
