You track your own purchases

• Please log anything you take from the Honor Bar on the Tab Order Form.

Update your Tab daily

• Submit the form each day and tap “Submit Tab Order”. You’ll receive an emailed receipt with your items and total.

Primary Guest is responsible

• The Primary Guest (person who made the booking) is responsible for any unpaid Tab amounts for everyone in their group.
• The Primary Guest must inform the hosts if they wish to allow others on their reservation to add purchases to their tab. It is best if they use the Primary Host's Name and email address when submitting the form to make tracking easier.

Primary Guest controls guest Tabs

• The Primary Guest may ask us not to allow Tabs for other registered guests on their reservation.

Visitors cannot open a Tab

• Only registered guests staying 3 nights or more may use a Tab. Visitors are not allowed to open or use Tabs.

When your Tab is settled

• Tabs are settled by 11:00 AM on checkout day. If you’ll leave before 10:00 AM, please let us know so we can settle your Tab in advance.

Right to refuse or close a Tab

• Hosts may refuse, limit, or close a Tab—or restrict Honor Bar use—at their discretion.

Full Honor Bar rules are included in the Guest Stay Agreement accepted by the Primary Guest, and for Airbnb bookings, in our House Rules.

Card on file

• Your Tab is charged to the card you have on file with us (see “Tab Setup” for details).

When it’s charged

• We total your Honor Bar purchases and settle your Tab by checkout, usually by 11:00 AM on departure day.

Who can use a Tab

• Tabs are available for stays of 3 nights or more.
• Guests staying 1–2 nights should pay by cash or card daily instead of using a Tab.

We don’t receive your full card details from Airbnb.  To setup a tab  for the Honor Bar you must be staying 3+ nights and add a card on file.

Add your card

1. Tap “Add My Card” below.
2. You’ll go to a secure Stripe payment page.
3. You must submit your email address so that our system can send you a receipt.  We also need this for possible verification purposes. We do not use this email for any marketing or other purposes.
4. Enter your card details and submit.

Verification hold

• A temporary hold of $10 MXN (about $0.50 USD) is placed on your card to verify it.
• This is not a charge and is automatically released shortly after.

At the end of your stay, your card will be charged for all Honor Bar purchases at the card price.  The card is not used to settle any other Smart Luxury Extras you may have requested.  Those amounts due will be settled through Airbnb's Resolution Center at time of request.

Good news — for these bookings, we already have a card on file from your reservation.

You do not need to add another card for the Honor Bar. We’ll simply:

Review your Honor Bar selections at the end of your stay.

Charge the total to the same card used for your reservation (after we confirm the amount with you if needed).

If you would like to update your card on file, please contact the host immediately.

If you’re not the person who made the reservation, but you are a registered guest staying 3 or more nights, you can still enjoy an Honor Bar Tab by submitting your own card on file.

How to add your card:

1. Click the “Add My Card” button/link below.
2. You’ll go to a secure Stripe payment page.
3. Make sure that the card on file and email address are the same on the card setup as you will use when submitting purchases on the Tab Purchase Form. This is how we verify the correct card to charge.
4. Enter your card details and submit.

Verification hold

• A temporary hold of $10 MXN (about $0.50 USD) is placed on your card to verify it.
• This is not a charge and is automatically released shortly after.

We’ll then keep your card securely on file and, at the end of your stay, we’ll manually charge only the total for your Honor Bar items at the card price.
